Wotton Community PARC

People Activities Recreation Community

Wotton Community PARC has been proudly managed and developed by Wotton Community Sports Foundation (WCSF), a  volunteer lead charity, since its inception in 1999, providing sports and leisure facilities for Wotton-under-Edge, Charfield, Kingswood and surrounding villages.

Our ever developing 38-acre site boasts two all-weather floodlight sports pitches, a skate park, BMX track, grass rugby pitch, two junior grass football pitches, a jogging trail, sensory garden, and orchard.

Home to Wotton Rovers Junior Football Club, Wotton Hockey Club, Wotton Rugby Club, Wotton parkrun, Wotton Walking Football Club, Kingswood Forest School, 7,000 newly planted native trees, and abundant wildlife and flowers, the PARC offers something for everyone.

WCSF is an independent registered charity (1121349). We are entirely self funding and therefore rely on the incredible support of our community and user groups. Thank you for visiting us online - if not already, we hope you'll join us in becoming an active ambassador for the PARC's continued growth and success.

Can we tap into your superpowers?

You may not realise it, but you possess extraordinary superpowers - the ability to build an enduring legacy that uplifts and enriches the entire community

Our visions and plans

From Wotton Community Sports Foundation's inception, our dedicated steering committee has maintained a clear vision for the facilities and amenities we aspire to develop at the PARC. Realising this vision is an ongoing endeavour, with each phase requiring funding support. Year after year, we collaborate with generous sponsors and donors, diligently working to transform our original plans into reality

The King’s Award for Volunteer Service, a symbol of excellence in community service, was conferred upon the Wotton Community Sports Foundation on 14th November 2023, highlighting the pivotal role it plays in enriching the communities of Wotton-under-Edge, Charfield, Kingswood and surrounding areas.

Through its management of Wotton Community PARC, a 38-acre community funded recreational estate, WCSF has played a crucial role in building a strong community ethos, providing an inclusive and dynamic environment for a variety of local sporting activities and recreational initiatives.

The bestowal of this award is a wonderful tribute to the dedication and team effort of WCSF’s trustees and volunteers that spans many years.
